Pecans, cashews and walnuts with molasses and brown sugar in a flaky pastry crust--the perfect holiday dessert.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare pastry by rolling out and laying in dish. Press edges or do a flat edge and add fall leaves or mistletoe designs with dough, using water to stick to crust. Beat all remaining ingredients with a wire whisk, except nuts and raisins. Stir in nuts and raisins. Pour into shell and bake for 45-55 minutes until center is firm. For garnish, top with whipped cream and sprinkle on raisins.
Notes:
If you only have salted cashews, rub them with paper towels to remove salt. Some salt remaining will be fine. Raisins are optional and may be left out of recipe.
