Mixed Up Marshmallow Madness

A simple candy treat perfect for gift giving--white chocolate studded with marshamllows, dried fruit, almonds and colored sprinkles.
 

Ingredients

  • 10 oz bag white chocolate chips
  • 2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • Colored sugar sprinkles or flavored sprinkles
  • Chopped or sliced almonds, optional
  • Small dried fruit bits, optional
  • *can change chocolates for different holidays, ex. mint chocolate for St. Patrick's Day.

Method

Melt chocolate and spread 3/4 on parchment paper. Drop marshmallows on chocolate. Drip remaining melted chocolate over marshmallows. Using a spatula, stir mixture on parchment paper. Add nuts or fruit. Generously sprinkle on flavored or colored sprinkles. Place in freezer for 1 hour. Remove from freezer, peel off paper, and break into bite sized pieces. Store in fridge.

 

Notes: Adding nuts and fruit to chocolate gives it that luxurious rich taste. One recipe makes the right amount for a one family holiday treat.
