What a great use of leftover holiday ingredients. These pockets are great for watching the game and clearing out the fridge.
Warm cream cheese to soften. Finely chop onion chop or shred your meat, then mix all together. Put a very small amount of oil onto the surface where you will be working with the dough. Firmly press your thawed rolls until they are flattened, then place a scoop of your meat filling onto the center. Securely pinch all sides of the dough to close your bread pocket. Then, bake until rolls are done and slightly brown.
Notes:
I have also tried sauteing the onions before adding to the meat filling and this gives it another unique twist and of course salt and pepper to taste.
