Double Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies

Delicate chocolate cookies with hazelnuts and white chocolate chips.
 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup melted lightly salted butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large whole cage free eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup high quality chopped white chocolate or chips
  • 2/3 cup chopped hazelnuts

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter with chocolate spread. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder. Put chocolate spread mixture in a mixing bowl, mix in eggs, vanilla and sugars. Gradually add dry ingredients. Fold in white chocolate and nuts. Using a cookie scoop, place on parchment lined cookie sheets and bake 10 minutes then cool on racks.

 

Notes: Delish and they hold up well for gifting.
