
If Yukon Gold potatoes aren't available, all-purpose round white or russet potatoes will work just fine.
In a large bowl mash potatoes with cream cheese, milk, sour cream, and garlic. Fold in onion and chives. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Transfer to a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish; sprinkle with paprika and dot with butter.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven about 30 minutes or until heated through.
Notes:
This recipe is excellent at the holidays or any meal that requires a potato side dish. It can be made ahead of time.
