
A holiday tradition, these cookies will surely disappear quickly. A great recipe to get the kids involved.
Sift together flour, nonfat dry milk, baking powder, and salt. Cream shortening, gradually add sugar and cream until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat well. Stir in vanilla. Blend four mixture with creamed mixture. Wrap cookie dough in waxed paper and chill in refrigerator for 1 hour. Roll out on floured board to 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into various shapes with floured cookie cutters. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 375 degree F oven about 5-7 minutes. Remove from sheet and cool.
