Christmas Cobbler

A simple, make-ahead dessert perfect for the busy holiday season--canned peaches, topped with a lemon cake mix and butter. Serve with ice cream.

Ingredients:

2× 29 oz cans Sliced Peaches In Syrup
1 box Lemon Cake Mix
6 oz Butter
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread peaches in a 13 X 9 baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top in an even layer. Cut butter into thin slices and cover top of mix completely. Bake 35 minutes until golden brown.
